As a Senior Medical Director you will contribute on multiple teams for various clients and will champion the scientific integrity of our work product. You will partner with clients, opinion leaders, other internal and external scientific professionals, as well as with Account Services team to ensure ongoing, positive relationships with our clients.
What you'll do:Be a brand champion by ensuring all agency efforts and projects are in the best interest of the brand and maximize scientific data to meet the overall strategic imperatives, positioning, and long-term visionEffectively manage multiple accounts from a scientific perspective, including all scientific and strategic aspects of medical communication tactics, meetings, and programsDevelop and oversee projects that demand a high degree of scientific and/or technical understandingBe accountable for client satisfaction, scientific rigor and accuracy, and strategic excellence of all projectsRead, interpret, and distill content from medical journal articles and pharmaceutical clinical study reports for scientific and marketing messagesHands-on medical writing, editing, re-writingReview scientific content for accuracyProactively suggest new and innovative ways to present dataWork in partnership with account services counterpart and editorial departmentCoach, manage, mentor, and provide direction to Scientific Associates, Associate Medical Directors, and Medical Directors where applicableIdentify and secure business opportunities on account (eg, organic growth)Full command of, and adherence to internal processes on all projects and ensure staff understands and follows process and provide recommendationsEstablish good working relationships with key opinion leadersInvolvement in new business opportunities, as neededLiaise with client and fulfill client requestsEngage in client interaction, including running teleconferences and client meetings, answering questions regarding content issues on manuscripts and presentations, attend meetings, and demonstrate knowledge of contentDevelop and maintain harmonious relationships with all levels of client teamsTake responsibility for client satisfaction and identify new ways/solutions to strengthen relationshipsIdentify and resolve client conflicts quickly and efficientlyProvide proactive written recommendations to client on a regular basisDemonstrate a knowledge of the therapeutic market and share timely information about changes in the marketParticipate in the development of breakthrough creative and innovative programs founded in strong scienceEnsure high-quality agency output, reflective of consistently superior creative and innovative products and constructively reject materials that do not meet this standardManage freelance writers, if needed - assign projects, provide direction, ensure project is on strategyWhat you'll need:

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
