is a crucial role within a dealership, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sales floor. This individual plays a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction, maximizing sales, and maintaining a positive dealership environment.
Requirements
Ability to command the respect of your peers and team to drive resultsFollow a servant leader mentality i.e., always helping others around you achieve successStrong understanding of what it takes to always achieve high customer satisfactionAspirations to grow in your career up to and beyond a Floor ManagerActively participate in recruiting and hiring for all positions; ensure performance reviews and coaching sessions are completed as scheduled; development of short- and long-term goals for each department managerCoach salespeople on best practices for closing more deals and provide advice and guidance to improve sales performanceSet sales goals, track progress, and lead a team to achieve and exceed those quotasForecast sales for upcoming months and quarters and compile the necessary reports for dealership management to reviewManage a CRM platform to retain customers and seek out new prospective salesMaintain a strong focus on the satisfaction of all employees and customersOversee all activities occurring in the vehicle showroomQualifications
Demonstrating a high "HQ" (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.Ability to effectively manage time to meet and exceed targetsA strong desire to succeedFocus on providing all customers an exceptional experienceOutgoing personality with expertise in developing relationships (i.e., a "people person")3+ years of experience as a Sales Manager at a franchise dealership or 7+ years in F&I or Floor Manager roleComplete understanding of how to desk subprime car deals as well as prime dealsSolid sales competencies with knowledge of strategies and best practicesExcellent leadership skills with a passion for developing employeesMust have strong organizational skills, and the ability to read and understand manufacture statements, F&I statements, and finical statements.Keen attention to detail with a commitment to solving complex problemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of inventory control and managementBenefits of Working at Swickard:
