Job Title: Social Worker
Job Description
The Social Worker is responsible for conducting assessments, developing and executing treatment plans, facilitating individual and group therapy, and providing clinical support within their assigned program.
Responsibilities
Facilitate individual and group therapies for adults/adolescents.
Complete risk assessments, initial safety plans, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment plans within required timelines.
Coordinate treatment goals and services with the client’s treatment team, including 30-day treatment plan reviews and updates.
Provide progress updates to parents in collaboration with the family therapist.
Conduct risk or crisis assessments and provide crisis intervention/management as needed.
Complete documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, group notes, discharge summaries) timely and according to standards.
Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision.
Represent the facility in meetings, trainings, and conferences as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field, or enrollment in a Doctorate program from an accredited or state-approved graduate school.
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Licensed Graduate Social Work (LGSW), Marriage Family Therapy (LMFT), Counseling (LPC), Social Work (LCSW), Licensed Independent Social Work (LICSW), or Clinical Psychology (LP) in Minnesota.
Experience with individual, family, and/or group therapy with adolescents/adults.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Preferred experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment.
Work Environment
Working in a residential counseling setting with a patient demographic of primarily teens aged 13-18
