The Cool Clubs Fitter at Roger Dunn is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golf's values, including the "Sure No Problem" philosophy, which has made Worldwide Golf what it is today. "Sure No Problem" means putting the customer first, and doing whatever we can to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience.
The Cool Clubs Fitter is responsible for performing golf club fittings and related assignments for a wide range of players including high handicap customers, better playing amateurs, VIP guests, and tour players. Responsibilities include:
Demonstrate excellent customer service, keeping in mind that the customer's last phase of their shopping experience is with the cashier.Process information and merchandise through computer and POS register system.Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and merchandise replenishment as needed.Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.Perform any other duties as assigned by management.Club Fitting:
Ownership of all aspects of the club fitting process (customer service, technology, sales, etc.)Fit all customers using the good/better/best fitting process and make proper club recommendationsAccurately document all fitting information in fitting softwareFollow Through:
Remain in contact with customers during the build process when necessaryCollaborate with builders on fitting/building challengesAddress customer concerns and resolve them promptly to the customers satisfactionOrder Tracking:
Fluently understand order tracking systemEnter all orders and pertinent information into order tracking system upon placing an orderProvide order updates to customers as neededUpdate system as needed (pick-ups, notes, etc.)Club Repair:
Loft and Lie adjustments for customersRe-gripping clubs for store customers when ableAssist build shop with lite club repair when ableFront of House:
Greet customers who enter the storeAnswer phones and manage personal voicemail boxBook Fittings and help manage fitting calendarHelp Customer Service Rep manage pick-up closetAssist with general cleanliness of the storeOther Duties:
Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge by learning about new technologies and productsKeep individual desk clean and organizedUtilize all safety protocols and equipment as set forth by the employee handbook and company policy'sRequired Job Skills
Knowledge of golf equipment and shaftsUnderstanding of ideal golf ball launch characteristicsGeneral knowledge of club repairProficient computer skills in the followingMicrosoft OfficePOS Experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and use hands. The compensation for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year. Individual starting pay within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
