The Regional Director of Operations ("RDO") is responsible for the coordination and oversight of clinical operations consistent with MVP goals and policies/procedures. This position is responsible for promoting high standards of practice through coordination of policies, protocols and practice guidelines as well as leading clinical areas of professional and technical services according to disciplined metrics as set forth. Interacts with and promotes the organization and its quality assurance standards and metrics.

What you will be working on

1. Leadership

Owns key regional decisions with team input, weighing risks and rewards along with short and long-term implications; strategically, thoughtfully, and persuasively communicates decisions.Collaborates with key partners on regional and/or company-wide initiatives and oversees rollout of new initiatives.Recognizes and anticipates marketplace trends; participates in strategic planning meetingsLeads in the development of operational business and patient services programming, manage implementations, and monitor for success.Inspires a work culture that is consistent with the practice's mission, vision, and core values2. Finance

Owns regional financial results/P&L, and works with leadership to ensure accuracy for reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.Focuses on an optimal balance between profitability and excellence in patient careParticipates in operations management, meets with staff, and creates a consistent operations plan based upon collective best practices.Assist Practice leadership in operational improvement and adherence to staffing and scheduling budgets and physician needs.3. Management of Quality Ophthalmology Care

Works in close collaboration with the physicians to foster a positive, patient-centered, team-based work environment.Addresses and resolves escalated patient complaints.Monitor quality improvement systems incorporating quality outcome measures.Monitor key areas of performance to assure clinical excellence, to include schedule templates and fill rates, strategy management, complaints, reportable incidents, state surveys, internal compliance audits, and infection control.4) Compliance

Participates in Risk Management activities.Develops and updates center/doctor protocols.Participates in the review of patient satisfaction surveys.Assure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and OIG.Ensures consistent and fair administration of all policies and procedures.5. Additional Duties

Must comply with all policies and procedures of the organization, including but not limited to standard operating procedures and employee handbook.Performs various other duties as requested.Contribute to a positive corporate culture and team spirit.Implement high standards for excellence in all areas of clinical operationsWhat you knowBachelor's Degree in Health or Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred.Five years of operational management experience in a healthcare setting.Knowledge of fiscal management practices and human resource management techniques.Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements.Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with administration and providers.Performs other duties as assigned.WHAT YOU KNOW:

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience or knowledge:

High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor degree highly preferred.Previous ophthalmology, healthcare or customer service work experience required.WHAT WILL MAKE YOU AWESOME:
