Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Boise, Idaho is currently seeking a Physician’s Associate (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing neurosurgery team. The PA or NP will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare through the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic neurosurgical conditions. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Edward Duckworth, MD, St. Luke’s Director of Cranial Neurosurgery. This full-time opportunity involves outpatient clinic hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
This position focuses on the outpatient care of benign and malignant brain tumors (gliomas, meningiomas, acoustic neuromas, pituitary tumors), brain and spine vascular abnormalities (aneurysms and AVMs), and various other diseases of the central nervous system (Trigeminal Neuralgia, Chiari Malformation, Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus). The PA or NP will work mainly in the clinic, assisting with patient consultations and follow-ups. Our team emphasizes and takes pride in performing surgery judiciously, achieving high-quality outcomes, and maintaining excellent communication with patients, families, and referring physicians.
What to Expect:
M-F, variable schedule (mostly days)
$3,500 Professional Development Fund
Malpractice insurance as well as malpractice tail coverage
5 CME days are included to complete education aside from accrued PTO
