Summary
The Director, Strategy will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives aligned to client objectives. Key to this role is the ability to drive collaboration between the client, internal teams, and external partners in order to effectively strategize and interpret key cultural, consumer and category signals required to design holistic media plans that deliver on client objectives.
Responsibilities
Be a champion for the brands you manage and continually strive to find innovative solutions that build the brandProvide expertise and leadership in performance marketing, across all channels: traditional, digital and emerging mediaBringing your track record of data-centric thinking to every integrated client brief, which will outline creative and media requirements and objectivesBeing the bridge between strong, conceptual thinking, and data-driven, analytical approaches to problem-solvingBeing the connective tissue between the client's business strategy, the creative agency's brand strategy, and the media strategy.Innovating with the creative team, media planning, marketing science and custom content experts to drive innovation.Maintain high level of service to all clientsLead and develop annual account plans and create clear accountability measures that ensure client and agency financial and business successEffectively motivate, lead, and train the team to maximize shared objectivesLead team utilization of Omni, in order to effectively leverage our people-based marketing platform to drive targeted audience activation, develop creative channel planning ideas, analyze digital content inventory, and contribute to the overall success of our marketing efforts.Experience
Excellent Leadership and Management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Strong Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capability to derive actionable insights from Data.Exceptional Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external partners.Proficiency in Media Planning and buying tools and platforms.Strong understanding of Project Management Methodologies and process improvement techniquesUnderstanding of financial operations, Budget Management, Strategic Planning, and media activationExceptional narrative skills, demonstrated ability to craft compelling stories that engage the audience, convey complex ideas clearly in order to effectively detail a strategy, problem, solution or Initiative.Minimum of 7 years of experience in media operations, preferably in an agency or media organization.Strong knowledge of media planning, buying, and optimization across various channels.Retail/eCommerce/entertainment experienceRelevant post-secondary education, training, or equivalent experience

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$140,000-$160,000 USD
