POSITION SUMMARY
We are pleased to offer the opportunity to work as a Seasonal Laborer/Snowplow Driver within the DuPage County Division of Transportation. We currently have three (3) vacant positions open at this time that will support the 2024 -2025 Winter Snow season.
This position will be temporary until March 31, 2025.RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:Snowplowing and snow removal activitiesWashing County VehiclesWork zone flaggingLabor duties for construction crews such as pothole patching, tree trimming, brush chipping, mailbox repairAdditional duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience:
High School Diploma or equivalentA valid Illinois Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A or B with Air Brake endorsementThe preferred candidate will have:Experience operating a six wheel snowplowA post offer drug screen is required.A post-offer physical is required.A pre-employment background check is required.Physical Requirements and Work Environment
