Overview
Job Summary: Examine, plan, and administer physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients referred by appropriate professionals. Supervise treatments performed by Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions1. Evaluate and Treat patients referred by appropriate professionals, or patients self-referred per State of Alabama practice law.
2. Document and perform patient treatments in compliance with accepted professional and institutional standards.
3. Provide Physical Therapy treatments at productivity standard.
4. Supervise treatments performed by Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides.
5. Serve as a Clinical Instructor for Physical Therapy students and/or Physical Therapy Assistant students, as able and certified.
6. Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Coordinator and/or Director of Rehabilitation.
Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: Those obtained through completing the necessary degree program and obtaining a professional license. CPR certification.
Education: Masters or Doctor in Physical Therapy degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program. (grandfathered BS acceptable)
Experience: No experience required.
