The Team:This role is a part of the production assembly team. The production assembly team works with the scheduling, materials, and operations teams to accomplish work and provides necessary components to further processing.

The Role:This position spends time assembling sub-assemblies and thermal chambers with other production team members. This position will assemble together components, wire harnesses and metal parts to build thermal chambers as specified by schematics, diagrams, and manufacturing instructions using hand tools.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

You will spend your time:Maintaining clean and orderly workstations and equipment following 5s guidelinesCompleting tasks as designated by production schedules with minimum supervisionInspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Report defects and safety concerns to Cell Coordinators.Aligning and clamping work pieces together, using rule, square, template or set up, placing them in fixtures, jigs, or visePerforming electrical and sub-assembly processes using power tools such as drills, grinders, pneumatic rivet guns, and Dremel tools on a daily basisUsing HVAC equipment such as manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, and micron gaugesWatching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properlyUsing hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating work piecesPerforming other duties assigned as neededWe are excited about you if you have:

The ability to read a tape measure and cut materials to precise dimensions using equipment such as panel saws and band sawsFamiliarity with and the ability to use the following tools: Panel saw, Band Saw, Rivet Gun, Manual and Pneumatic epoxy/silicone applicators, nibbler, and Plasma Cutter.Ability to quickly move your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objectsAbility to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one positionAbility to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specifications, blueprints, etc.Physical Requirements:

Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials up to 10 poundsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds independentlyMust be able to lift up to 100 pounds with assistanceFrequent standing, up to 10-hour daysFrequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching and walkingWork Environment:
