Cardiothoracic Surgery opening in Central WI - Located in Wausau, WI - Full-time, permanent position - Hospital Employed - New graduates are encouraged to apply. BC/BE required. Position Details:Due to planned retirement, a facility of three experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeons and four Physician Assistants is seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon. This is a hospital employed practice with an income potential at or above the 90th percentile of MGMA. Starting salary $822k+ with a 2-3 year track to partnership. Income potential over 1 million plus as a partner.This is a high volume program with a wide variety of cases. The case mix for 3 surgeons is approximately 600 cardiac and 200 thoracic cases per year. We also work closely with our interventional cardiologists and vascular surgeons, operating together for TAVRs and complex aortic cases/TEVAR, respectively.Surgeries performed include: - AVR - Complex aortic surgery - TEVAR - Mitral valve repair/replacement - Tricuspid valve repair/replacement - CABG (primarily an off-pump practice) - Complex atrial fibrillation surgery, including robotic approaches - TAVR - Robotic thoracic surgery Benefits Offered: - Sign-on bonus - Potential for Loan Repayment - Paid Relocation - Tiered Vacation starting at 6 weeks, with up to 11 weeks with Partnership - Malpractice - Health & Dental - Vested Retirement with potential for 403b Plan
