ThePortfolio Finance Analyst(Digital & Innovation) is responsible for supporting both the Innovation Portfolio and D&I by demonstrating effective financial reporting and analysis skills. The Portfolio Finance Analyst will assist in the day-to-day operations of portfolio management and D&I through execution of budget and forecast analysis, data visualizations, and other key reporting metrics. The role will be responsible for working with all areas of the organization to help monitor financial performance and other KPIs, as well as supporting the Portfolio Manager through routine maintenance of deliverables to leadership. This is a US remote or mobile role with a preference for candidates that work at our Cranberry Township, PA headquarters at least 2 day a week.
Your Day to Day: Owns collection of spend plans from innovation project teams and utilizes them to build and communicate a forecast for the entire portfolio, helping D&I better understand what financial risks and opportunities may exist. Will support the Portfolio Manager by assuming ownership of all PowerBI and Sharepoint platforms that support the D&I portfolio. Other similar platforms may be introduced, as necessary. Responsibilities will include ongoing maintenance of data sources and visuals to ensure accuracy, as well as considering ways in which D&I can further automate its portfolio data. On at least a monthly basis, will be responsible for generating and interpreting Finance-based reports which help measure D&I's performance. Candidate should have experience with SAP to perform these activities. Once generated, reports could be communicated both internal and external to D&I. As part of communication, individual will be expected to provide a relevant summary for recipients in a professional manner to assist with key takeaways. Individual will be a main contributor to D&I's annual planning process. Processes the candidate can be expect to lead or support include development of Cost Center budgeting, Headcount coordination, and other Financial requirements that assist D&I in coordinating its organization This may require collaboration with personnel both internal and external to D&I, as well as a need to coordinate regularly with Finance. These activities will require strong organizational skills and an ability to comply with a detailed schedule.
Who You Are: Bachelor's degree. Applicable disciplines are Finance, Business, Project Management, or related discipline. 3 years of relevant experience Knowledge of SAP, PowerBI, Tableau, or MSBI development environments and data structure to coordinate and direct enhancements of existing reporting dashboards is a plus.
