Job Description
We are seeking a
Systems Administrator
to join our team and help our client deliver dependable and secure IT services alongside comprehensive business service support that not only fulfills but surpasses customer expectations.
This is a full-time, onsite, and long-term contract position.
The role encompasses a blend of project management, operations & maintenance (O&M), server upkeep, and the advancement of the client's existing ServiceNow Deployment.
What You'll DoAdminister, develop, test, implement, and maintain the operating system and related softwareEstablish and enforce computer operation standards for hardware-software compatibilityResolve software, operating system, and networking issuesSchedule and monitor system backups and perform data recoveries when necessaryRecommend hardware and software enhancementsSchedule, plan, and execute system upgradesConfigure various hardware devicesProvide technical support to system usersWhat You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related fieldA minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration or related fieldProven track record with ServiceNow platform management, including ITSM, Security Operations, Strategic Portfolio Management, IT Operations, and IT Asset Management modulesExperience with system migrations and quality assurance testingProficiency in ServiceNow administration and developmentStrong understanding of IT service management and business processesExcellent problem-solving and project management skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaborativelyPreferred:
ServiceNow System Administrator Certification is highly preferredPhysical Demands:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
