Job Summary:Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy, Required.Skill Requirements:
Ability to assess patient and family needs, and develop and implement a comprehensive Plan of Care.Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards/requirements.Knowledge of Medicare documentation standards.Recommended affiliation with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferredLicensing Requirements:
Current CA Occupational Therapist License, RequiredPhysical Demands:
Constantly required to push/pull and lift light objects less than 50 lbs. Occasionally required to push/pull more than 300 lbs., and lifting in excess of 50 lbs.Required to perform simple motor skills such as standing, walking, writing and use of various types of therapeutic and office equipmentFrequently required to remain in uncomfortable positions for long periods of time, such as bending over equipment, counters, and tables and squatting.Required to walk, stand and sit for long periods of time.Special Demands:
