What You Will Do:Assist the development, organization and operation of ALF services for the Health Center, Assisted Living and Memory CareCoordinate nursing services of residents including the procurement of outside sources such as: Home Health Care Services, private duty, hospice, rehabilitation services, psychological,Maintain an effective restorative care program in collaboration with therapy providerEnsure completion of all new hire training, with completion of new hire checklistsSelect, train, evaluate, and discipline all nursing services personnel including timely completion of written orientation evaluations and annual performance evaluations of all nursing staffDevelop and maintain a schedule of daily rounds and assignments of duties for all nursing staff to assure 24-hour coverageDevelop appropriate action plans as needed for quality improvementMaintain clinical skills and stay knowledgeable of current standards of nursing practice through nursing education related to geriatricsEnsure clinical developments of residents are reported to their families and/or responsible party, physicians, the Medical Director, the Administrator of Health Services and State, as necessaryReview nursing requirements of each resident admitted to the Health center and assist the attending physician in planning careOversees the care plan development for residents.Effectively manage nursing staff within the area of responsibility, providing direction and setting expectations consistent with the goals of Eastcastle PlacePossess management and organizational skills to oversee direct report(s); to include; interviewing, onboarding, performance management, performance reviews, monthly training expectations, team building, employee relations and/or terminations.Regularly audits clinical systems and processes to promote and ensure compliance.Ensure compliance of State and Federal regulatory changes, regulations and req's and staying current.Requirements

2 years of nursing management experienceActive RN license through State of WisconsinCPR certificationProven Organization skillsAttention to detailAbility to lead by exampleAbility to delegate as neededCommunication skillsStrong work ethicFlexibility with scheduleAbility to balance Administration and Clinical taskEmpathy and CompassionWillingness to teach and guide nursing teamActive listening skillsExperience in a Long-term care facility PreferredPossesses ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staffAbility to document careBenefits:
