Regional Manager (Industrial Wastewater Operations)

Job Description
We are hiring a Regional Manager for the oversight of our industrial wastewater treatment locations. (Locations include: South Texas, South Central Kansas, Southwest Georgia, Southwest Alabama, Northwest Arkansas and Central Indiana. The incumbent must be very knowledgeable in Industrial Wastewater Operations. Must also have extensive Mechanical Skills (example, pump repair). Communication skills are vital as this role interacts frequently with the client.
Regional Manager would be expected to visit the sites on a frequent basis to evaluate state of operations and assess the day to day plant needs. In between site visits, it is expected Regional Coordinator would arrange TEAMS calls with site managers to ensure sites are not experiencing compliance, operational, or personnel issues.
Position will require frequent overnight travel and long distance driving.
Duties include:
Plant communications
System start-up/set-up
Data review and assessment
Internal compliance reporting
Customer relations
Conformance to site budget, including management and control of:
Schedule
Overtime
Parts
Chemicals
Maintenance expenses
3 rd party suppliers
Position is responsible for reporting to the General Manager the status of the operations and any issues or opportunities at the sites
Learning the system operations in order to operate if required
System troubleshooting
System improvements
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) creation and/or improvement
Data collection improvements and trending
Plant safety and training
Vacation relief
Administration of Safety Program, including:
Assigning safety trainings to employees
Registering and assigning new training to employees
Tracking safety training completion and compliance
Other duties as assigned by General Manager
