Job Description
Job Summary:
The Receiving Associate 2 is a skilled and experienced professional responsible for managing and optimizing the receiving process. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure the accurate and timely receipt, verification, and distribution of materials. The Receiving Associate 2 plays a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting quality assurance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
The starting pay is at $18.00/hour
Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive and Verify Materials:
Receive incoming materials from suppliers against Purchase Orders with high accuracy.
Verify the accuracy of inbound and outbound materials, ensuring they match purchase orders and delivery documentation
Load and Unload Trucks:
Load and unload supplier and inter-plant trucks efficiently and safely.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate shipment records for accounting, purchasing, and warranty purposes.
Adjust material quantities to ensure precise inventory levels.
Assure that materials are properly located in appropriate stockrooms.
Manage the movement of parts from receiving and secondary process lines to stock.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure a seamless inspection process.
Coordinate with other material handling areas such as stockroom and shipping as needed.
Order Fulfillment:
Manage the picking and receiving of parts for honing and fulfill prototype order requests.
Pull, pick, and ship materials for purchase orders per the purchasing production schedule for secondary processes.
Utilize Technology:
Utilize counting scales for accurate counting of materials.
Employ RF Scanners and ERP system to receive materials and make adjustments.
Continuous Improvement:
Measure, weigh, and count products and materials while providing continuous improvement ideas.
Develop an understanding of and perform 7s duties as delegated.
Maintain and adhere to safety levels consistent with company and government policies.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the receiving area.
Participate in continuous training and development opportunities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a receiving or warehouse role. 3-5 years
Proficiency with RF Scanners, inventory management systems, and counting scales.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
Commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
