Locum Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant

The Locum Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. This position requires an experienced and compassionate healthcare professional with a strong understanding of cardiology and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, reviewing medical histories, and ordering diagnostic testsDiagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmiasDevelop and implement personalized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and patient educationCollaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless and coordinated carePerform procedures such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), blood pressure monitoring, and stress testsInterpret diagnostic test results and make appropriate recommendationsEducate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategiesProvide compassionate and supportive care to patients and their familiesMaintain accurate and up-to-date medical recordsStay informed about the latest advancements in cardiology and incorporate them into practiceParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient careQualifications:Master's degree in nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant (PA) studies from an accredited institutionCurrent RN or PA license in the state of employmentBoard certification in cardiology or equivalent experienceStrong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiologyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a healthcare teamCommitment to providing patient-centered careSalary is based on experience and work hours.Please submit your CV to gethired@seasonedrecruitment.com
