We are currently hiring a full time Interventional Pain Management Physician for our ACGME accredited surgery center in Colorado Springs, CO.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with relief from acute or chronic pain through the use of, nerve blocks, epidural injections, electrical stimulation, pain pumps, medication management, and other procedures.

Responsibilities:

Patient care, working under the supervision of and in collaboration with the CPIhealth Medical Director to diagnose symptoms and implement treatment plans to reduce pain and restore function.Ensure safe and compliant clinical and surgical procedures are provided to patients utilizing the following:Monitoring - implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and participate in the provision of the community of care.Patient Education - counsel and educate patients regarding issues of health care management, to include compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, interventional procedures, and ancillaries (i.e. physical therapy, bracing, TENS).Follow up with existing patients in a timely manner to discuss improvements from a psychological, social, interventional and narcotics perspective.Provide appropriate professional referrals to physicians, therapists, and imaging.Follow safe clinical procedures and make correct non-compliance issues in a timely and professional manner.Document patient information in an accurate and timely manner.Ensure timely follow up with patient care by making sure support staff are aware of the Plan of Treatment.Maintain contact with referring Physicians.Attend regularly scheduled company and peer meetingsProvide coverage and support to facilities not regularly scheduled to be at.Maintain professional credentials and take a leadership role in peer education.Performs other duties as assigned to support the mission, values, and strategies of CPIhealth.This job description should not be interpreted as an exhaustive list of responsibilities or as an employment agreement between the employer and the employee. Requirements

Currently enrolled in or has completed an ACGME-accredited Fellowship in Pain Management.Experience in Pain Management.Experience with relief from acute or chronic pain through the use of medications, nerve blocks, epidural injections, electrical stimulation, pain pumps and other procedures.Ability to develop and implement a treatment plan to relieve, reduce or manage pain and help patients return to everyday activities.Must be ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesia or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.Must be ABA Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Pain Management.Must have an active or processing Colorado License.Desire to serve patients and be self-motivated while exhibiting sound judgment, intellectual honesty, appropriate interpersonal skills and the capacity to react to emergencies in a calm and reasoned manner.Excellent bedside manner, emotional stability, and the ability to make decisions in emergencies.Ability to work independently, meet internal and external deadlines and produce a consistently high-quality product.Comprehensive Benefits plan including:

Starting at $350K and up (depending on experience)
