RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Assistant Director of Clinical Care for PICU IV at Community Medical Center.Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Opened in 1961, CMC has evolved into the state s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs and Ocean County s largest and most active health care facility caring for over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients and 73,700 emergency department patients each year.Qualifications:Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.Current New Jersey RN LicenseAt least 2 years acute care nursing experience or 2 years acute care nursing experience with previous management experiencePreferred:Preferred Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculatingCertifications and Licenses Required:BLS Health Care provider through American Heart AssociationAdditional certifications may be required as per the Administrative Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification PolicyScheduling Requirements:Day Shift, 40 hours per weekEssential Functions:Manages patient care delivery on an assigned shift.Ensure that [unit/department/division] is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.Ability to pay attention to detailLeadership skills; critical thinking, problem-solving skillsAbility to work well under pressureAmbition and desire to positively impact patient care, patient experience and the overall success of the unit.Responsibilities include assisting the Director in managing the unit with staff schedules, evaluations, discipline & QI.Other Duties:
