MASAC (Massachusetts Alcohol and Substance Abuse Center)
is a Section 35 treatment center located in the beautiful Myles Standish State Forest in Plymouth, MA. This role is working with individuals with substance use disorders.
How you make a difference
The Assistant Director of Clinical Services ensures effective day to day operations of the program through active supervision of clinical and support staff. Assists in hiring, training, and supervising clinical team members. Oversees the quality of services provided and implements quality assurance practices.
Key Responsibilities
Provides clinical and administrative supervision to clinical team leaders and others as necessary.Assists the Director of Clinical Services and other staff in program development, department management, and administrative dutiesDevelops and provides staff training.Provides backup for administrative functions when the Director of Clinical Services is off-site as assigned and for other clinical staff as needed.Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Required: Masters or Doctoral Degree in social work, mental health counseling, or psychology as required by contract.Experience
Required: Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and clinical observational skills.Preferred: Two (2) years of experience with the population served.Licenses/Certifications
Required: Licensed LICSW or LMHC in the state of practice.Required: Any client-mandated certifications and/or training.Compliance
Must adhere to compliance requirements from company, client agency, and accreditation bodies.
