KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and maintain accrual schedules for all officesPerform routine reviews of invoice data, general ledger detail and supporting documentation to identify year-end prepaymentsCollaborate with business areas across the firm to record year-end accrual entriesResearch and summarize accounting guidancePrepare adjusting manual journal entries and post approved entries as receivedCreate, update and distribute monthly general ledger and ad hoc reportsAssist with the Firm’s various external audit engagementsParticipate in and contribute to system and process re-engineering effortsRecognize and assess the downstream impacts of process changesREQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CPA track required4+ years of professional accounting experience in Public Accounting or at a law firm/professional services environmentStrong analytical skillsStrong communications skills, both written and verbalAbility to prioritize competing demands under tight deadlinesAdvanced in Excel and WordFamiliarity with Elite 3E and OneStream is a plus!Strong attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality
