What Does a CDL Driver do at Swire Coca-Cola?In this role, you will operate a commercial motor vehicle and play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our beverages to customers.

Responsibilities:Safely operate and maneuver commercial delivery vehicles to transport beverages to designated retail locations. Follow predetermined delivery routes and schedules, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries while adapting to various traffic and weather conditions. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the well-being of yourself, other road users, and the cargoSafely load and unload beverage products utilizing proper handling techniques to prevent damage or breakage. May stock beverage products and maintain back rooms/back stock areas as requested by the store or management. Pick up and return pallets, shells and assigned product at each delivery locationConduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify and report any maintenance or safety issuesUtilize electronic devices or paper documentation to confirm deliveries, track inventory, and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with logistics team to ensure accurate inventory counts and resolve any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with supervisors and dispatchers to provide updates on delivery progress, delays, or issuesMaintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, both internally and externallyInteract professionally with store personnel and establish positive relationships with store managers and staffMaintain valid CDL-A licenseComplete all assigned trainingAttend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events

Requirements:High School Diploma (or GED) and/or equivalent degree/certificate requiredCDL-A License requiredInterstate License requiredAbility to drive manual transmission preferredMust be at least 21 years of ageDriving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy requirementsAbility to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business; flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, routes, and delivery demandsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds; physical capability to lift and move heavy beverage cases repeatedly throughout the day
