Job Summary:

The Assistant Nurse Manager provides assistance in various areas of the hospital including throughput, Patient Flow from the Inpatient Assessment Center (IAC)and the Inpatient Units, assisting Nurse Directors on Inpatient Units with various administrative tasks and staff oversight.

Helps provide coverage for ANM in IAC, Nursing supervisor coverage and Nurse Director Coverage. The position is 72 hrs biweekly with flexibility in adding hours for coverage as needed.

Education : must have a BSN or MSN preferred

Training and Experience : Current RN RI License with psychiatric nursing experience and experience in management preferred.

Excellent written and oral communications kills, creative problem solving and demonstrated leadership ability.

Schedule : 36/72 Full Time Evenings / TBD
