This includes promoting client/caregiver ability for self-determination and care, optimizing their participation in this process and optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve self-management. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for coordinating and communicating with various disciplines or services involved in client care and coordinating their efforts toward discharge goals established at onset and during course of care. Is a patient advocate.Qualifications

Other information:Bachelors degree and educational requirements needed to be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in New Mexico and meet requirements of Home Health Medicare Conditions of Participation if necessary.One-year experience in supervised clinical practice in acute care or rehab setting preferred.Basic typing competency preferred.Need to have current drivers license, Basic Life Support Certification, as well as auto insurance.Education:* Bachelor Degree
