The JSD will work closely with the development team to develop scalable video software and AI/ML systems optimized for target embedded devices. The position will require some travel to support customer presentations, site surveys and field tests. Location of work is the BRC corporate office in Huntsville.Responsibilities:Software development primarily in C/C++, Python and JavaScript may come up as wellSoftware Design and SpecificationSupport the development of Interface Control DocumentsSupport the development of testing procedures for the Prototype System.Communicate (written and verbal) clear and crisp insights and observations of system performance.Minimum Qualifications:BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or proven equivalent experienceKnowledge of life cycle of software systems.Knowledge of modern OS coding techniques and hardware interfaces.High-level writing and documentation skills.Must be a critical thinker.Ability to attain/maintain a Secret clearance.U.S. Citizenship required.Preferred Qualifications:Containerization technology (Docker)Video Processing (Low latency)AI/ML knowledge is a plusWorking in Embedded Systems is a plusEEO Policy:Bevilacqua Research Corporation is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/VEVRAA Employer.
