Cleared AWS Network EngineerThis position requires an active DOD Secret or Top Secret ClearanceThis position has a Hybrid work schedule 2 days a week on site at Fort MeadeQuotient is looking for a highly motivated AWS Network Engineer with experience deploying secure environments in AWS. This position augments an existing team of security engineers working on enterprise level solutions. The ideal candidate will have worked within DoD providing engineering and hands-on support for existing cloud deployments.This role is to:Provide technical guidance to the engineering team regarding architectural and design considerations for new cloud environmentsDesign, document, and deploy cloud solutionsImplement security standards within the cloud infrastructureAutomate deployment and teardown of cloud environments for remote operatorsMonitor systems and report issuesMentor colleagues on technologies and processes related to the AWS platformMonitor existing systems to ensure structural integrityInstall and configure operating systems and other software validating systems and ensuring their operational readinessAssist in procurement evaluation and decision makingIntegrate solutions with DoD Global Directory, Platform One, and other existing cloud deployments for authentication and collaborationParticipate in documenting and accreditation of the cloud environment according to applicable DoD standardsSalary Range: 130k-185k with benefitsSkillsets -AWS Cloud and Govcloud (IL2 - IL6)DoD Compliant Framework, Landing Zone, or similar deploymentsAWS Cloudformation, Stacks, CI/CD Pipelines, VPC / Networking, State Machines, EC2, S3, Athena, Redshift, CloudTrail, Config, CloudWatch, AWS GuardDuty, IAM / SSO / RBACUnix / Linux background preferredRisk Management Framework, FedRAMP, ACAS, DoD 8570, DISA/STIGs, SCAP, etc.
