We are looking for a passionate Senior UX Researcher to join our growing research team. As the second team member, you’ll be instrumental in elevating the impact of UX research across the organization. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional partners to drive research throughout the product life cycle to strategically impact both company and product direction. Your focus will be to provide actionable insights to shape experiences for beauty and wellness business users and their customers. This role will operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in our New York City office (Tuesdays & Thursdays).What You’ll DoWork closely with product and business teams to identify high-impact user research that address both user behavior and attitudesDesign and execute end-to-end primary research using a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative methodsGenerate insight and provide input into company and product strategyCommunicate results and socialize recommendations in compelling and creative waysRepresent the needs of our users and prospective users and ensure the products we ship bring meaningful value to both the end users and the businessBuild and nurture partnerships with product managers, designers, analysts and engineersManage and prioritize research plans through ambiguous and fast-changing environments, align and efficiently execute critical insights and work with a diverse group of stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking ForAt least 5+ years experience with UX Research and/or applied researchExperience conducting in-depth Interviews or focus groups and concept testing or usability testingExperience with survey design and applying statistical analysis methods such as Regressions, ANOVA, and T-TestsAbility to work independently, autonomously, and cross-functionally with design, product management, content strategy, engineering and marketingProven experience in translating research findings into strategic narratives and influencing product roadmaps in a way that impacts the businessSolid understanding of common qualitative and quantitative research methods, and when and how to use mixed methodsExperience working directly with product teams (primarily Product Design and Product Management)Exceptional communication skills, comfortable presenting to groups, creating compelling stories from user data, and building relationships across interdisciplinary stakeholdersThe starting base salary for this role in New York is between $150,000-$175,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education.
