As a Software Engineer III at Taco Bell, you will have an incredible opportunity to be a hands-on contributor to our fast-growing eCommerce software engineering team. Your experienced technical background and problem-solving ability will be critical as we solve new challenges at a huge scale, all while using the latest and greatest cloud-native technology. The Software Engineer III will report to the Sr. Manager of Software Engineering and be part of an innovative eCommerce team.The Day-to-DayDesign and build software solutions using AWS Serverless technologies in TypeScript and write unit tests using the Jest framework.Design and implement web applications using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React/NextJS.Collaborate with UI/UX designers, other engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software that meets customer needs.Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in design, quality, and security.Optimize application performance and scalability.Adopt Agile development methodologies and be part of an innovative product team.Is This You?BS degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent years of experience.At least 3+ years of experience in AWS serverless development using Node.js or Python.At least 2+ years of experience building React web applications, preferably with Next.js.Strong experience in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Strong experience with Source Control, Agile, and Scrum.Knowledge of AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, S3, etc.)Work-Hard, Play-HardHybrid work schedule and year-round flex day Friday.Onsite childcare through Bright Horizons.Onsite dining center and game room (yes, there is a Taco Bell inside the building).Onsite dry cleaning, laundry services, carwash.Onsite gym with fitness classes and personal trainer sessions.Up to 4 weeks of vacation per year plus holidays and time off for volunteering.Tuition reimbursement and education benefits.Generous parental leave for all new parents and adoption assistance program.401(k) with a 6% matching contribution from Yum! $100,900 - $145,635 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
