Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need you, an experienced network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network for the impact of the DoD’s mission needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in documentation and system management tasks to support Network Communications. You will support ongoing engineering efforts with leadership, logistic, technical, and budget personnel within the organization to develop and apply advanced software and systems methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems to support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You’ll increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.

You’ll apply your expertise in routing and switching, network design and architecture, system interoperability, and engineering as you join our team of problem-solvers to analyze, evaluate and plan method of approach and organize means to achieve solution of complex technical problems.

As a Network Engineer, you will plan, conduct and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects.

You Have:

Experience with Windows Server and Windows 10 or 11

Knowledge of static routing and virtualized environments

Knowledge of network security configuration including VPN, IPSec, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Authorities, Firewalls, or Active Directory

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience with DoD Program Executive Office (PEO), O6 Project Manager (PM), or O5 Product Manager (PdM)

Experience presenting oral and written reports to leadership, clients, and teammates

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
