Support front end sales and product engineers with technical expertise, dealing directly and indirectly with the customer or within the business. Select technical solutions (products), create CDE's, Proposals, and Submittals and provide support to customers, manufacturing, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Support the application engineering team by advising, assisting, and training junior engineers
Technical solution selections including costing and pricing, specification review and compliance, document preparation including Technical Data Sheets, Proposals, CDE's, and Submittals
Dealing with customer technical sales enquiries
Support the external sales team
Respond to external sales enquiries
Provide details of orders to customer services and manufacturing
Required Education & Qualifications
BS Engineering degree or equivalent
5+ years of engineering work experience in related field
Knowledge of heat transfer products, refrigeration systems, electrical systems preferred
Knowledge of VBA preferred
Knowledge of APQP process including DFMEA, PFMEA preferred
Knowledge of product (heat exchanger) testing preferred
Ability to work with different groups within Airedale by Modine
Problem solving skills to overcome challenging obstacles
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to use own initiative
Excellent communication skills
