Department OverviewElectric Asset & Regulatory is responsible for the electric system quality, engineering and planning, asset quality strategy, and risk management across transmission, distribution, and substation asset families. This centralized, risk-informed approach allows PG&E to manage electric risk, asset and system health, interconnections, and performance by using consistent standards, work methods, prioritization, and program sponsorship, while leveraging lessons learned from inspections and asset data to inform asset management decisions. Accountable for asset planning and strategy, standards and work methods, and asset data management for Electric Engineering and Operation.
Position SummaryThe Expert Business System Specialist position leads/supports a key role in ensuring that departmental projects and programs meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. The critical activities are public safety and compliance under Quality Management Training & Project, QMTP - Risk Management, Governance, Quality Planning, Quality Management System (QMS), Continuous Improvement, Change Management, Problem Solving, Audit and Training & Development. Utilizing PG&E Lean Playbook, change management process, quality engineering principles, and ISO 55001/9001 standard, this position leads and collaborates the people side of change, which involves leading the Change Management Program for the Organizational including but not limited to PMO, standards, procedures, preparing, supporting, and equipping people to adopt and use changes to data, process, technology affecting people.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.
Salary RangeA reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $118,000
Bay Area Midpoint: $153,000
Bay Area Maximum: $188,000
Job Responsibilities
Develop and Maintain all change management policy and procedure documentations, including associated frameworks, playbooks, and templates.
Develop/identify Change Management strategy/policy/plan for the entire value stream and the stakeholders to ensure seamless adaptation and risk mitigation of the planned and impending change adaptation initiated by the department or the external department.
Manage all aspects of change management including facilitating various change meetings, conducting change assessments, and risk mitigation planning.
Manage all aspects of change management operations, including reporting on change management projects, maintaining the lessons learned repository, preparing, and facilitating change review sessions, and generating weekly change communications.
Liaison and facilitate between various stakeholder meetings in partnership with the Business Process Lead, Product Owner, and/or Project Manager.
Report out on change management KPI/metrics reports as needed.
Support and engage in all tasks that relate to QMTP business processes as required.
Act as a key contributor to teams that define, review, and approve requirements for the business needs solution.
Analyze and document business requirements for complex projects.
Analyze end-to-end complex business processes and coordinate with Lines of Business (LOB) in compliance with ISO 55001/9001.
Anticipate concerns and questions, and provide proactive, timely and professional communications or delegate as appropriate.
Contribute/Develop to business case development.
Identify, propose, and influence solutions to complex quality problems.
Guide and lead Advance Parts Quality Planning (APQP) deployment to quality planning, and project management for successful outcomes.
Being able to analyze complex issues utilizing various quality tools and SPC tools to formulate solutions and implement for successful results.

QualificationsMinimum Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience in change management, including experience leading and delivering change management on projects.
Experience with project management skills including risk management and mitigation planning.
Job-related experience, 7 years.
Desired:
Graduate Degree or equivalent experience.
Certified PMP and/or Change Management.
Experience in Utility industry quality management system.
Certified Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor for ISO 9001/ISO 55001.
Enterprise level Lean deployment experience.
Experience in Operational Quality Management, Engineering, and Data Science.
Experience in Lean deployment and Quality Management System Implementation.
Experience in fast-paced operational environment or business process improvement.
Certified Change Management.
Ability to generate buy-in and cooperate change management implementation from various stakeholders.
Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning, APQP.
