We have an exciting opportunity at our Mesa, AZ facility for an Applications Manager!With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Europe, Taiwan, China, Korea, and Japan, local sales offices throughout the world, and on-site applications support, FUJIFILM Electronic Materials supplies the world's top-tier semiconductor manufacturers with a broad array of products and services used throughout the semiconductor manufacturing process.The Role

The successful candidate will be a vital leader in assisting businesses to achieve success, with responsibility for researching and acquiring the software applications required to propel growth forward. They will configure, monitor, and maintain these tools as needed, ensuring that they are used across departments. Furthermore, they are responsible for managing financial budgets associated with both projects and day-to-day operations, all while supervising server/hardware upgrades and reporting success to top management and stakeholders.Responsibilities

Research, procure and manage software applications that will contribute to the success of the company.Install, configure, monitor, and maintain those applications as and where necessary.Establish protocols for software applications and ensure their ease of use for others.Oversee upgrades for servers, hardware, and software.Report on progress of operational issues to senior management, end users, and stakeholders.Manage financial budgets for both specific projects and day-to-day running of specific departments.Provide training to users on how to use new software.Use quality assurance skills to help the business meet its quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, using strong communication and collaboration skills to translate technical concepts and foster teamwork.Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field is required.A minimum of 10 years of experience managing software applications in a manufacturing environment.Fluency in software and systems, and experience with software and systems such as CSS, HTML, EDI, C.A sound understanding of software development life cycles, scripting, systems programming, Agile, and JavaScript.Experience in database management, SQL.Experience in project management, system design, and database management.Experience troubleshooting technical systems.Experience building and maintaining business systems, and assessing clients' business process requirements.Experience with user experience concepts.Confidence in training employees and colleagues.Good communication skills.Experience in documentation and business process analysis.Mental & Emotional Requirements
