System Engineer - ON SITE

Responsible for implementing, supporting, maintaining, and managing IT services, including networking, IT security, email, and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities
Update, install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot multi-site Linux/UNIX and Windows based Netsmart application environments for both turn-key and cloud clients.Work directly with clients to resolve issues, schedule updates, and provide guidance on system level best practices.Support enterprise database systems; MS-SQL.Complete basic Windows administration tasks, including patching, configuration of server roles and features, and installation of software packages.Work within the HIPAA and ISO 27000 series security and privacy governance models in implementing and securing client environments.Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience, education, and training.Preferred
Experience working with SQL Server enterprise database systems, performing installation setup, basic configuration and troubleshooting.Basic scripting knowledge with PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.Experience implementing and troubleshooting server systems in WAN/LAN environments.Working knowledge of IT standards, concepts, best practices, and procedures.Ability to prioritize attention and workload to focus on client priorities within a time sensitive environment.Strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.Netsmart is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer, providing equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals.
