Administer Leave of Absence (“LOA”) processes.Oversee administration by the Company’s third-party leave administrator (“TPA”) of associate leaves of absence (under federal and state laws and Company policy, including but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, military, disability, Wellness, and workers compensation leaves) and coordinate with TPA as needed.Perform leave administration activities to include but not limited to: preparing correspondence, data entry, management of return to work process, document review and analysis, file updates and maintenance, and document management.Communication and Process Coordination: Communicate with and serve as a liaison between and among the Company, associates, managers, and relevant third parties for LOA related matters; Assist in establishing/enhancing process automation and efficiency improvements.Data Integrity and Analytics: Prepare preliminary analysis of reports; Conduct audits of LOA data and processes and implement follow-up, corrections or and/or enhancements as needed to further data and process integrity and compliance.Participate in special projects and Associate Relations and Workforce Compliance cross-functional responsibilities as requested by supervisor or Division management.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job-related experience required2 years of previous experience working with leave administration under the Family Medical Leave Act, California Family Rights Act and other state leave and disability programs2 years of experience in a team-based environment in human resourcesFunctional knowledge of HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, USERRA, STD, LTD, state leave laws and proceduresBasic knowledge of medical terminology is helpfulProven ability to quickly and accurately input, review, organize, and analyze data
