– Marshall University’s School of Art & Design is pleased to invite artists to submit entries for the 14th Annual National Juried Exhibition.Accepted works will be exhibited at the Charles W. and Norma C. Carroll Gallery located in the Visual Arts Center in Huntington, West Virginia, from March 10 to April 10, 2025.ELIGIBILITYTo be eligible for the exhibition, artists must be 18 years of age or older and must maintain a permanent residence in the U.S. Exceptions are made for students and military personnel with U.S. resident status. Artwork previously displayed in Marshall University’s art galleries will not be considered.JURORJurying will take place January 6 through 17, 2025 and will be based on the digital images submitted by entrants. This year’s juror is Rebecca Ness, a painter currently living and working in Brooklyn, New York. Ness received her MFA from the Yale School of Art and her BFA from Boston University. She has held solo exhibitions in New York, Paris, London, Los Angeles, Cologne, Germany, and Seoul, Korea and has participated in recent group exhibitions at the SCAD Museum of Art in Savannah, Georgia and Akron Art Museum in Akron, Ohio.ENTRY FEEArtists may enter up to three artworks. The entry fee is $30 for the general public. For current Marshall University students with ID, the entry fee is $15 for up to three entries.
