Mission Multiplier is currently seeking a
Systems Administrator, Associate
at
Scott Air Force Base
in Illinois to support the Air Force LOGNET contract. The selected candidate must have a government security clearance, per contract requirements (Clearance Level: Secret). We are looking for a candidate with experience administering
Windows/Web Servers
that will be part of the Business Systems Support Services Team.
Essential Functions:
Provides System Administration for systems, servers, appliances, communications devices and software for AMC's C2 and Business Systems.
Ensures systems, servers, appliances, communications devices and operating system/application software are properly configured for network operation, are on-line and are available to customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide Level 3 expertise for AMC's C2 and Business systems.
Process weekly scans and generates reports of current system vulnerabilities and provide updates through briefings or posting of information, e.g., SharePoint site.
Uses
Nessus Security Center
to scan enclaves for vulnerabilities and creates fix action remediation bundles for
Windows/RHEL
via automation ( WSUS/YUM ) and manual patches ( Oracle, Mozilla, Adobe, etc. ) based on risk priority.
Uses
DISA STIGs
documentation to assist with system patching using various tools (YUM, WSUS).
Creates weekly remediation media disc for distribution across enclave environment.
Performs routine and advanced system maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
Education/Years of Experience:
B.A. with 5-10 years of experience with server management OR No Degree and 10-15 years of experience with server management.
Experience:
Experience and knowledge of Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, IIS Server.
Experience with active directory and group policies.
Experience with information assurance.
Clearance:
Active DoD Secret clearance.
Certification(s):
Security +.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):
Ability to manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.
Ability to administer highly reliable systems solutions for delivering required business capabilities.
Ability to utilize available tools and resources to resolve issues.
Ability to clearly communicate and/or explain technical information to a broad range of personnel with varying levels of technical expertise.
Ability to troubleshoot basic computer hardware/software installations and issues, including
Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016, 2019 operating systems .
Proficiency using and troubleshooting Microsoft Server issues.
Detail-oriented with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of systems administration processes and hardware and software components.
Knowledge and understanding of the tools, concepts, practices and procedures of security incident management, threat intelligence and continuous monitoring.
Knowledgeable of hardware and software capabilities and limitations supporting the functional system.
