System Security Engineer , you will play a critical role in safeguarding our platforms by ensuring that cyber security requirements are effectively defined, decomposed, allocated, implemented, and assessed to create a robust, cyber-resilient security solution for advanced Air and Weapon Systems.This includes participating in working groups, design reviews, and formal Risk Management Framework (RMF) and National Security Agency (NSA) artifact creation alongside other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the overall platform; and providing security expertise to ensure that cyber security is considered throughout the product development lifecycle.Applicant is expected to conduct a range of cyber risk analysis and security assessment methods; implement patches and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to address cyber vulnerabilities, feature changes, or obsolescence; develop documentation for specific installations and configurations necessary to obtain Authorizations to Operation (ATOs) in support of program schedules; and contribute to and implement Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs) to mitigate open cyber risks.What’s In It For You:

At LM Aeronautics, we cultivate an inclusive environment that appreciates differences and unique thinking.Basic Qualifications:Experience supporting DoD programs with CDS needs.Experience performing assessments of security controls.Active Secret Clearance or higher.Security+ or CISSP Certification.Experience utilizing Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253, and NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management Framework (RMF) to design and harden information systems commensurate with customer needs.Desired Skills:Generate technical documentation (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) of proposed and/or as-built CDS implementations.Perform professional technical work that requires in-depth knowledge and diversified application of NCDSMO RTB requirements.Appropriate experience to support NSA approved Cross Domain Solution (CDS) LBSA team.Experience with NSA certification and authorization processes for cross domain solutions and an understanding of the structure of the NSA Cross Domain Solution Management Office (NCDSMO) and how they engage with other CDS authorizing groups including the CDTAB.Possess up-to-date knowledge on the CDS Raise the Bar (RTB) requirements and architectures and DoDI 8540.01 Cross Domain (CD) Policy.Experience with working on CDS research and development teams building new technology.Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent communication skills (written and verbal communications) and can work in a dynamic work environment.Security Clearance Statement:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
