If that sounds like home, we'd love to hear from you.The RoleAs a member of our early team, you'll directly on our product and the AI tooling behind our product by working closely with our machine learning team. You'll work on orchestrating multiple language models that we train in-house. You'll work on tooling that supports our data collection, curation, ablation studies, evals, creation of hand-crafted supervised fine-tuning data, and preference optimization. You'll contribute to our end-user product, improving user experience through your work on our models and model orchestration.In this role, you’ll truly be working full-stack. You'll work with a team of predominately ML engineers, all working together for our end-users who are going through mental health challenges. You'll also work with conversational designers, writers, and psychotherapists who interact with our tools to develop our product experience.You'll primarily be working with NextJS, our ML services in python, our Kotlin backend, and our Flutter mobile app. You'll be working with custom in-house language models along with voice models (text-to-speech and speech-to-text) and large language models.About youYou’ve shipped full-stack applications zero-to-one and have design-driven sensibilities.

You’re fluent in multiple general-purpose programming languages (e.g. Kotlin, Swift, Typescript, Rust, etc.). You have an appreciation for what good typed code looks like and have 3+ years of experience as a software engineer.

You have experience with modern backend technologies and architectures like microservices, message queues, caching layers, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

You like being a generalist, a team player, want to own what you build, love solving really hard problems, and are driven by building a world-class product.

You can ship fast. We work at lightning speed.

Requirements:3+ years of full-stack experience

Experience with React, Typescript, and CSS

Based in NY/London
