Responsibilities
Product Strategy Leadership: Define, enhance and manage the creation of Reporting & Insights products & service from idea generation to product launch.Merchant & Business Research: Lead discovery efforts directly with current and prospective merchant, gathering feedback about business challenges and interesting questions to be answered through reporting & data insights.Roadmap Management: Create and maintain product roadmap, defining key deliverables and value capture following launch of each project phase.Development Execution: Collaborate closely with development teams to design sprints, deliverables, MVP criteria and success metrics.Merchant Advocate: Frequently connect with Shift4 merchants & internal stakeholders to uncover reports & insights with high-value product enhancements to further develop Shift4’s value proposition.Industry expertise: Working knowledge of modern software systems, reporting and accounting platforms, and competitive payments landscape.Go-to-Market Planning and Execution: Develop and launch go-to-market plans for feature releases and new products.Product Evangelism: Evangelize, promote, and provide education on upcoming features and offerings to the product community and increase market adoption.Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaboration with product leadership peers to define and enable comprehensive strategies to drive innovation and market success.
Qualifications
Experience: 6+ years of Product Management experience creating products that integrate data into decision making, including data visualization & data insights.Expert Knowledge: Deep understanding of the global payments industry (consumers, merchants, acquirers, networks, issuers, etc.), payment types & methods (credit card, debit card, alternative methods of payments), consumer & merchant payment channels (e/m-commerce, POS, etc.), modern technology stacks (cloud, big data, microservices, API's, etc.), and industry business models.Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team of product managers and UX professionals toward the achievement of defined objectives and goals.Grit: Demonstrate a whatever-it-takes attitude to ensure that your product and team are successful.Collaboration: Track record of delivering results across cross-functional teams with the ability to lead by influence.Entrepreneurial Mindset: “Fire starter” mentality with the ability to deliver from ideation to launched product.Hustle: Ability to operate effectively is a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
