Essential Functions:

Manage and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure (IAAS and PAAS) to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Provide server monitoring and administration support to Windows/Linux OS, performance tuning, implementing and managing various Windows infrastructure roles/services like IIS, FTP, Telnet, DNS, DHCP, Firewall, Azure Monitor, Azure Update Manager, DFS-N, DFSR, NPS etc.

Configure and maintain virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups.

Server security hardening which includes patching, antivirus, IPSec encryptions and implementing security policies.

Develop IaC automation, and DevOps.

PowerShell scripting to perform/automate various tasks.

Develop and document repeatable solutions to drive operational efficiencies.

Collaborate with different stakeholders to manage and maintain cloud environments as per the requirements.

Identify and implement cloud optimization strategies to reduce costs for the customer workloads.

Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud resources.

Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting and automation tools.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, providing solutions, RCA and mitigations.

Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-based applications.

Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning.

Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and updates.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Intermediate and advanced certifications in Microsoft Azure.

3+ years of hands-on experience developing and managing cloud-native solutions in Azure.

3+ years of experience in troubleshooting Windows or Linux server issues.

Hands-on experience in programming and scripting technologies like .Net, Python, PowerShell etc.

Hands-on experience in designing and developing IaC automation using Terraform and ARM templates.

Hands-on experience with core cloud services (storage, networking, firewalls, DNS, databases, applications, compute, container services, IDAM, Azure Monitor, Azure Update Manager, designing and developing CI/CD pipelines) across Azure Cloud.

Hands-on experience developing utility scripts and tools using Python or PowerShell.

Understanding of IT Management processes such as ITIL.

Physical, Mental Requirements and Work Environment:

View computer monitor for an extended period of time.

On-call and schedule flexing as needed to meet internal and client needs.

Pay: $92,000 - $98,000.
