Huntsville, AL.Responsibilities:The candidate will primarily be responsible for leading a team and developing applications to support Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT).The applicant should be able to demonstrate the ability to lead application design, development, testing, and documentation efforts.The selected candidate will be a member of a team providing software development and support to the AvMC Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate.Required Skills:Required Experience:
Must possess a bachelor's degree and three (3) years experience; Additional six (6) years' experience may be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).Clearance Requirement:
Secret Security Clearance - US Citizenship required.An Interim Secret Security Clearance must be obtained prior to employment; a Secret Security Clearance must be obtained to maintain employment.Required Experience/Skills:Excellent leadership and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team player, stays well-informed of industry trends and sharpening skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasksStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsLead agile software development using methodologies like ScrumProficient using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or GitLabC#/.NET development using Visual Studio or VS CodeHTML, JavaScript, CSSCI/CD pipelines, artifacts, and package feedDesired Experience:Cross platform developmentMicrosoft Multi-platform App UI (MAUI) and/or BlazorAndroid app development using Java or Kotlin in Android StudioDeveloped Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) pluginsKnowledge of software development process, technical data package documentationExperience with aviationFamiliarity with the Army’s Airworthiness process [i.e. Airworthiness Qualification Plans/Specifications (AQPs/AQSs), Functional Hazard Assessments (FHAs), DO-178C/DO-278A]Worked with Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD) and Platform Managers (PMs) to achieve Airworthiness approval
