Summary
The Lead Systems Architect performs technical planning, system design, integration, verification and validation, cost, risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Interface with all stakeholders to ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Responsible for establishing educational and training goals for area of expertise and ensuring those goals are achieved.
Responsible for managing large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-functional teams.
Communicates within and outside of the organization which includes larger customers or vendors.
Frequently conducts briefings to senior leaders and customers.
Responsible for improving upon existing processes or establishing new systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation.
Recommends tactics and strategies that will directly impact the achievement of overall business or functional results.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Requires mastery level knowledge within a specific technical area or multiple job areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Viewed as an expert and/or resource within the field by peers in and outside the organization.
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Preferred Skills
Experience with C130 (including H and J variants), KC-135, P3 simulation and/or platform.
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) utilizing Cameo and/or Rhapsody.
Experience designing high-fidelity, motion based and non-motion total training solutions.
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment with core hours from 9 am to 3 pm, every other Friday off, and potential for some remote work-from-home.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. to various heights.
