Responsibilities
Monitoring database components for multiple mission-critical applications in all environments until production.
Complete performance tuning of SQL Code and databases, which includes troubleshooting, writing queries, and reviewing application code and database parameters.
Perform automation of database deployments and improve efficiency with self-serve capabilities.
Conduct database maintenance activities.
Complete data migration activities such as data migration, deployments, etc.
Maintain database security and standards.
Support application releases requiring database script execution and deployment. Partial virtual/work-from-home benefit available.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field and 5 years of IT experience (or a master's degree in computer science or a closely related field and 3 years of IT experience).
Must have experience with:
Database administration; healthcare insurance domain;
Oracle; TOAD; SQL Developer; uDeploy; Jenkins; Liquibase;
And Unix Shell Scripting.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
