Together, we are an integral part of an important mission -- we go to work every day with the knowledge and pride that our accomplishments make a difference.HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Cyber Systems Engineer/Administrator to work out of Herndon, VA to advance the state of the art in Big Data, Data Analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics to enhance the DoD and IC information processes and technical architectures.The selected Senior Cyber Systems Engineer/Administrator (position is a hybrid Engineer/Administrator) will work on-site in the program’s Herndon SCIF 4 or 5 days/week and serve as a privileged user/PUA for assessments and other activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: monitoring system health, troubleshooting system problems, maintaining storage systems, interfacing with other parts of the team for hardware, network, and infrastructure support, providing after-hours on-call/call-in support on a rotational basis, ensuring system security requirements are satisfied, creating/maintaining system scripts, patching/upgrading system, and administering user accounts.Minimum Qualifications

9 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 7 years relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; 4 years relevant experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.Experience with Linux environmentsExperience with scripting languages, such as Bash and PythonStrong problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skillsExperience with Git for source controlUnderstanding and willingness to work in a DevSecOps-oriented environment with an infrastructure as code mindsetActive CompTIA Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent DoD IAT Level 2 cert)TS/SCI w/CI PolyPreferred Requirements

Technical experience and knowledge of distributed storage networks, routing, and application messaging frameworks.Experience provisioning and sustaining network infrastructures and have experience developing operations and management networks required to operate in a secure PKI, IPSEC, or VPN-enabled environment.NiFi, HA Proxy, Docker, Kubernetes, Spark, and Elasticsearch experience.Experience developing, operations, and managing networks required to operate in a secure PKI, IPSEC, or VPN-enabled environment.Certification and accreditation processes experience.
