Advanced Silicon Carbide Materials is seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in managing Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple defense-related programs, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and leading cross-functional teams to meet key program milestones.
The Program Manager will be the key liaison between our company and government stakeholders, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and contractual obligations. This role is crucial for driving success in contract execution and maintaining strong relationships with our government clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of DoD contracts from inception to completion, ensuring all contractual requirements are met.Manage cross-functional teams to deliver programs on time and within budget.Serve as the primary point of contact for DoD clients, maintaining strong, collaborative relationships.Oversee program schedules, risk management, performance metrics, and cost controls.Ensure compliance with all government regulations, including FAR, DFAR, and ITAR.Develop and execute program strategies to drive contract expansion and future business growth.Prepare and present program reviews, reports, and updates to senior leadership.Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the continuity of operations.Lead contract negotiations, modifications, and change orders as needed.Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of program management experience, with a strong focus on DoD contracts.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale defense programs.Comprehensive knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, FAR/DFARS, and government contract management.Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with government officials and internal teams.PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
