Job DescriptionPosition Purpose
Responsible for the design, development, and completion of short/long term IT engineering projects in the Technology Services plant environment to achieve Business objectives.Lead and direct service and lifecycle management of IT and Operational Technology in the Service Centres.Maintain specialized knowledge of emerging and new technologies to build better IT solutions to support and drive business goals and decisions.Responsible for day-to-day operations such as on-call duties on a 24/7 365 day coverage and maintenance of Technology Services Equipment in the industrial environment.Position is required to be onsite at least 4 days of the week.Location:

Part of the On-Call Rotation which follows a 24/7 365 Days ModelUp to 20% TravelDesign and approve scope of work, and any change orders which may affect financials or capabilities to be delivered. Produce an optimal design for the project translating Business and IT requirements into a service model.Manage large-scale IT service centre engineering projects which are complex and varied in nature within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.Be the voice of IT in all planning and service centre implementation meetings; collaborate with Real Estate, Health and Safety, Global Process Engineering, and Plant Operations.Asset Mgmt.: Ensure procedural, run books, and site documentation are created and updated. Make sure all key documentation for plant maintenance is kept accurate and updated. Leverage data as part of long term lifecycle management of hardware and software assets.Research and development of new or emerging technologies used in the industrial technology space with a focus on automation. Lead pilots and prototypes for fit for use.Challenges/Problem Solving
Provide Tier 3 technical expert support, including complex analysis and diagnosis of technical issues (cause and impact). Interpret and identify trends, implement proactive corrective actions, and determine any financial implications.Work closely with vendors to troubleshoot issues and incidents.Identifying risks and developing risk mitigation tactics, with a focus on cybersecurity risk and zero harm.Communication Skills. Ability to convey information effectively, efficiently, non-abrasively both verbally and in writing.Accountable for the professionalism and quality of the infrastructure’s design and build, and capabilities delivered.Global reach while being flexible to local cultural and business differences to deliver value (internal, external stakeholders).Long Hours/Weekend Work based on Project Requirements.Bridge the gap between Plant Infrastructure and other Technology Services Teams (Network, Wintel, Linux).QualificationsEssential Qualifications
Microsoft certifications, VMware.IT or Business Management Degree or Equivalent Experience.Desirable Qualifications
