Join our team as a Security Specialist III at Case Management Consulting!*This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance or a TS (with the ability to obtain a CI poly)Term:
March 2025 (with a possible extension to August 2025)Are you ready to take your security career to the next level? We're looking for a Security Specialist III to join our team and support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). You'll be crucial to the Security and Installations Directorate (SI) Personnel Security Division's (SISP) case management team.Key Responsibilities:Collect, investigate, research, document, and forward to adjudications all reportable information from employees and contractors within the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act (IRTPA) and Director of National Intelligence (DNI) mandated timelines.Monitor all case progress to ensure cases are completed within the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act (IRTPA) mandates.Document, file, and maintain all actions in the PeopleSoft security system.Follow-up as appropriate to ensure timely action on all ARC and CEP events.Prepare accurate and quality reports of investigation.Submit appropriate documentation to applicable databases to complete the Automatic Records Checks in less than 30 days.Knowledge and experience in the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Scattered Castles.Prepare the ARC report using the established template and place it in ePSF, annotating action in the investigations Module in PeopleSoft.Identify any outstanding actions weekly to the government Team Lead.Ensure no errors are detected, and all case data entries in the PeopleSoft Investigations and Adjudication Modules are current and accurate.Monitor and assign priorities to cases specified by the Government (e.g., specific work roles, student hires).Provide written weekly status reports on mandated timelines.Accurately create the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Quarterly Metrics reports and deliver them for review on mandated timelines before external suspense.Prepare the monthly metrics slides with all required information without error and deliver on mandated timelines.Elevate to the Division Chief issues and propose solutions to bottlenecks precluding achievement of metrics.Maintain all tracking, suspension, and status reports in shared files. Keep the latest revision in the external folder, and store historical records in an archive folder.Maintain communication as the ISP liaison between subcontractors and government personnel to track all cases being worked on and provide status.Create, maintain, and track all background investigator credentials for NGA investigations in accordance with the NGA SISO office.Inspect and document that all folders are clearly marked and easily searchable using the document mapping criteria provided by the Investigations and Adjudications Branch Chiefs.Clear and concise writing skills and positive, engaging communication skills.Required:An active TS/SCI clearance or a TS (with the ability to obtain a CI poly)Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years of experience, or 7 to 10 years of equivalent work experience.
