Project Engineer

Qualis Corporation is seeking a project engineer to lead the development of a compact space-based RF payload. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in developing space hardware solutions and will join our team of well-qualified, diverse individuals at our Huntsville, AL office.Essential Functions:Develop and apply advanced hardware design methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems.Lead a team of subject matter experts to define technical problems and architect solutions.Develop and present technical white papers and executive-level briefings.Develop program technical approach and technical roadmap.Develop technical program plan, identify technical milestones, and ensure progress against the technical objectives.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience.Experience with space electronics design practices.Experience with design engineering, project engineering, and systems engineering principles.Experience with digital signal processing systems and radio frequency systems.Ability to work with a dynamic, skilled team on high-impact, high-visibility projects.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.Preferred Qualifications:BS in EE or a related technical field preferred.Experience with building software interfaces to hardware.Possess excellent time-management skills to contribute to multiple tasks concurrently.Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.Possess excellent presentation skills.Qualis Corporation is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse and talented workforce who can contribute to the mission and vision of the Company.
