OR
four (4) years’ experience working with business, clinical, or administrative applications required.This position may require additional certification in support of the responsibilities of the position, which will be provided by WVUHS Information Technology. Certification completion will be required within four months of formal certification training completion.Internal employees must meet all mandatory competencies in the current position to qualify for promotion within IT.West Virginia state and Federal criminal background check required for DHHR WV CARES regulated area.CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists in analyzing system issues and workflows. Assists in research and data gathering with clients and other team members. Assists in modification requests as assigned. Engages in expanding knowledge of existing user workflows. Maintains an understanding of supported applications.Problem Identification and Resolution:
Assists in the resolution of daily problems and testing as assigned.System Management:
Completes assignments driven by vendor application packages for upgrades and enhancements.Project Coordination:
Reviews, identifies, and documents any issues, barriers, or risks and brings them to management’s attention.Team Building:
Participates in training and professional development sessions. Exhibits objectivity and openness to the view of others.Training & Education:
Provides classroom training, one-on-one training, and end-user remediation for adult learners.This position may require travel to other West Virginia United Health System (WVUHS) facilities or affiliated sites.Adheres to the established policies of the WVUHS as well as the policies of the entity or entities where the IT team member is assigned to work.Accepts on-call responsibilities and responds with action as defined by Department Policy.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
